A son, a father, a brother and friend to many will be greatly missed.

John’s spirituality and love for God and family gave him purpose and joy.   His house was filled with family photos, bibles and mementos that showcased what mattered most to our father.  The last three decades of his life were in many ways miraculous.  A miracle because in 1995 he made a commitment to live a clean and sober life.  And lived that life every day since.

Over the years our dad became the self proclaimed videographer and photographer at all of his children’s and grandchildren’s events. He was the proud father/grandfather with a camera around his neck, a camcorder in his hand and an infectious smile that would light up any room.

Even though our father lived alone, it was evident he wasn’t truly alone. Up to and through his final days of his life his heart was filled with a profound love for God and his family. Next to his recliner chair, was a bible and from eye’s view, all the family photos.  While praying he would reminisce about the beautiful times he got to spend with his family.

Our dad loved music (Neil Diamond) and sports (LA Dodgers) but most of all he loved his family with all his heart and soul.
